The President's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, divulged the content of the Letter in a statement titled: ‘President Buhari writes Jordan’s King Abdullah, conveys good wishes and solidarity’.
According to him, the president wrote to the Jordanian king following the resolution of a recent rift in the royal family.
He quoted the President as saying, "While here in London taking a short rest, I was profoundly disturbed to read from international news agencies of attempts to destabilise the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan."
President Buhari expressed joy that the matter was eventually resolved amicably and prayed for peace in the Kingdom.
The president, in the letter also noted the exemplary leadership of king Abdullah ll Bin Al-Hussein, stating that since he ascended the throne, he has attracted worldwide admiration.
He equally thanked the king for the excellent relationship he has ensured between his counrty and Nigeria.
Despite saying he was taking a short rest in London, the Presidency had announced that he will be undergoing routine medical check-up in the English city.
