Recall that the Northern Elders Forum has asked the Federal Government to crush all the people who are jeopardizing the harmony of this country. This they requested because Nigeria must remain a united country in unity and peace. Professor Ango Abdullahi who is the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum noted that Nigeria can not break as breaking up is not acceptable.
As reported by Sahara Reporters, see a screenshot of the Northern Elders' statement below👇
He made it clear that the Northern region has paid a big price for the survival of Nigeria and as such the federal government must tame all those agitating for the disintegration of Nigeria. However, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who has been the Leader of the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra (IPOB) has taken to his social media handle to say that "no government could defeat her citizens."

Kanu further stated that the government is simply the employees of the people, so, employees can't be stronger than the employers. Kanu even portrayed the citizens as people who could demand accountability from the government when the government is found wanting. This simply means that the citizens in a position to request complete accountability from the government and as such, this government should try to listen to the voice of the people.
