According to VANGUARD, former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has insisted that the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode is not leaving the Peoples Democratic Party, and even if he (FFK) decides to leave, he would become dead politically.
Fayose said this on Channels TV Sunday Politics, monitored by Vanguard digital team.
Recall that Femi Fani-Kayode had recently been in the news over an alleged defection to the ruling party when photographs of him and the Chairman of APC reconciliatory committee, Mallam Mai Buni and the Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, surfaced online, with the Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, claiming that the former Nigeria aviation minister has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to a statement gathered by Premium Times, Yahaya bello said;
“I have the mandate to sanitize, mobilize and educate and woo Nigerians into the party, irrespective of their background,” Bello told journalists after revalidating his APC membership.
“Our Brother Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has joined our party in good faith. He is joining our party to add his own positive energy and make a contribution to ensure that APC is a party to beat.”
