Osinbajo tackles the plan for the breakup of Igbo and Yoruba from Nigeria- See what he said

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice President, warned advocates of secession in the country on Thursday, urging them to abandon such campaigns.

According to Osinbajo, who made the statement while inaugurating the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Marshal Inspectorate Training School in Owa-Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area, Nigeria is safer as a united nation.

Nigeria, he said, was a great country despite its diversity and current challenges, and that Nigerians should take advantage of the country's inherent advantages to foster long-term socioeconomic growth and development.

“To truly achieve this, Nigeria as a nation must continue to promote justice, equity, and fairness among the diverse groups in the country,” he added.
