An aide to President Buhari on new media, Bashir Ahmad has got social media users talking after he shared a photo of certificate of return of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu on his Twitter page.
Bashir's post has generated a lot of mixed reactions from Nigerians. Some urged him not to overly celebrate because the election case is still with the tribunal while others say the certificate is making the opposition supporters jealous.
Check out some of the reactions below
Recall that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu was declared winner after winning the closely contested election. He was issued a certificate of return a day later the APC members have been celebrating his victory in the polls. But that's not all there is to the victory as the two main opposition parties - PDP and Labour Party have taken to court to seek redress regarding the credibility of election which produced Tinubu as winner, thus there's a possibility of the certificate being given to someone else.
On the other hand, the INEC had admitted there were some glitches during the presidential election which they have promised to fix. They've also assured Nigerians the mistakes will be corrected during the upcoming gubernatorial and state house of reps election.
