Reno Omokri continues to counter Buhari-led administration on his Twitter account through his post.
Here is what he stated recently.
@renoomokri on Twitter stated "In 1991, Nigeria sent troops to Liberia to restore peace. 30 years later, General @MBuhari is begging the US to send troops to Nigeria to restore peace. Buhari should remember that when Nigeria sent troops to Liberia, the first person to go was their president!"
However, some Nigerians responded to his tweet.
@ChrisDozie001 on Twitter stated "Has it gotten to this? Asking for foreign military intervention."
@vickyjay201 on Twitter stated "It's not bad to call on external support to restore peace. But what measures have they first put in place to keep the peace maintained if restored now?"
This reaction of Reno Omokri shows how we've gotten as a nation. The government should put in more faith in its security agents as they did in 1991 when they sent troops to Liberia.
I strongly advice that the government should find way to carve out some of the issues in our security agencies.
Reno Omokri is only trying to give advice to the government on what transpired 30 years ago in regards to Liberia.
