It is often said that Lagos State is a no man's land for the reason being that it house people from diverse origin.
Meet Mr. Bob Okey Okoroji, a Lagos-based constitutional lawyer who hasn't given up on his dream of becoming the state's governor.
He claims that he is eminently qualified and that he can do a better job than the state's previous governors.
Mr Okoye Okoroji, who ran for governor of the state twice on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance in 2011 and 2015, said he was encouraged to do so because he believes he has what it takes to deliver.
In an interview with the Daily Times, Okoroji argued that his ethnicity should not be a factor, claiming that as a Lagosian who has lived in the city for nearly four decades, he is a complete Lagosian capable of achieving any position.
WHICH ARE THE REASONS FOR THE CHOICE OF LAGOS
“I have always stated, and I will continue to state, that I am still interested in governing Lagos,” Okoroji stated. “And I'll draw your attention to myself at any time. I have what it takes to take Lagos to the next level, as you can see.
