Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central, has taken on his verified Twitter to say some International election observers with limited budgets left the country after the postponement of the governorship election.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponed governorship and state assembly elections that was supposed to hold on m March 11 to March 18, 2023, due to the difficulty of the commission to begin the re-configuration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines used for the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections, to enable their use for the state elections.
However, the outspoken human rights activist, Shehu Sani recently posted on his microblogging, Twitter, some hours ago, saying some International Election Observers with limited budgets left Nigeria after the Governorship election was postponed.
On that note, Shehu Sani concluded his statement by hoping that those International Election Observers will come back.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:
"Some International Election Observers with limited budget left the country after the postponement of the Governorship election. I hope they will come back."
