Different news sources recently discloses that Cherubim and Seraphim, C&S Church in Kwara State has reacted against the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who earlier approved the wearing of hijab (Islamic headscarf) for female students in government grant-aided mission schools within the state.

According to the reports, Cherubim & Seraphim Church rejects approval of hijab for students in Kwara schools. Chairman and Spiritual father of the church, Reverend Samuel Abidoye stated that Cherubim and Seraphim is against the use of Muslim veil by all female students of the school. He further urged the government to revisit the decision in order to make a change.

Rev. Samuel Abidoye made this known to the public while interviewed by some newsmen in Ilorin on Sunday being the 7th of March 2021.
