President Buhari To Address 76th UN General Assembly at 2PM

News Agency of Nigeria had in the early hour of Friday, reported that President Muhammadu Buhari is set to address the 76th Session of the high-level General Debate of the UN General Assembly at the UN headquarters in New York on Friday.

President Muhammadu Buhari, according to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), who is to deliver his address at 2PM Nigerian time which would be 9AM in New York, would speak as regards the theme, ''Building Resilience Through Hope - To Recover From Covid-19, Rebuild Sustainable, Respond to the Planet, Respect the Rights of People and Revitalise the United Nation" , would also address other global issues.

Todays session would witness leaders from Republic of Benin, The Gambia, South Soudan, Germany and Senegal, give their speech on the 76th Session of the high-level General Debate of the UN General Assembly.

President Muhammadu Buhari, has been reported by news men to have meet with a number of leaders of other countries' delegations and head of international Development organisations, ranging from meeting President of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye, to meeting with Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to holding a bilateral meeting with her Majesty, Maxima Zorreguieta.

Meanwhile President, Muhammadu Buhari has promised to invest in food security and nutrition knowledge dissemination, skills’ development, and information management systems in other to promote agricultural productivity for national food security.
