Nigeria has mapped out the 1st of every October in each year as a celebration day in which they celebrate their independence from their colonial masters and rules courtesy of the brave acts of their past heroes. But however, there has been a lot of agitation in the country regarding to the unfair treatment of the poor masses by the men on top.
The Easteners widely known as Igbos has their proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra agitating for the freedom of Easteners while the Westerners has theirs as Oduduwa who are on the stand of Western liberation.
However, 1st October is a day for the Nigeria citizens and hence the Easteners should derail from doing these 2 things on that day.
1. Avoidance of violence with Nigeria security agencies: the Easteners most especially the youths should desist from any form of violence with the security personnels by either hoisting the Biafra flag or trying to trample down any Nigerian flag they come in contact with. Let them at least put aside the unfair treatment of the current leaders and respect the bravery of the past heroes by ensuring that 1st October will always be peacefully celebrated in the Eastern region.
2. Avoiding any unconstitutional fake order from any fake people parading to be the IPOB: it is true that the Easteners are in wise contention with the federal government in a bid to ensure the release of the leader of the proscribed IPOB group, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. But many people might pass out unconstitutional order to the Easteners in order to disrupt the peace of the 1st October celebration. But their motive for passing such order is to disrupt and ransack the peace that ought to be enjoyed on the 1st October on the eastern region.
