President Buhari Leaves For Saudi Arabia For Summit, Lesser Hajj

President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday to take part in the investment conference organized by the Future Investment Initiative Institute.

After the summit, he would travel to Makka and Madina for the lesser hajj. Malam Garba Shehu, the President's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, confirmed this in an Abuja statement on Sunday.

According to a presidential adviser, the President will be joined by Nigerian business executives, bankers, industry captains, and energy experts at the 5th edition of the flagship investment event to debate problems concerning the future of investments throughout the world.

The three-day event, titled INVESTMENT IN HUMANITY, will feature discussions on growth and prosperity in the energy sector, true ultimate frontiers in investments, science in action, and the impact of climate change on communities, among other topics, he said.

Talking about when the president will return to the country, he said the president will be returning to the country on Friday.
