1. Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu
The 59years-old is a Chatered Accountant and Politician. He hails from Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State. Chukwu became politically active in 2001 and in 2003, He was elected to represent Ohafia North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly under the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. Hon. Chukwu won re-elections in 2007 and 2011 respectively and was elected as Speaker of the Abia Assembly in June 2011, a position he held until his Election as Deputy Governor of Abia State in April 2015. He was re-elected alongside his principal, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu during the March 2019 General Elections.
2. Dr. Alex Otti
Otti, 55 hails from Isiala Ngwa Local Government Council, the University of Port-hacourt trained Economist worked in the Banking Sector between 1989 and 2014 during which he served as MD/CEO of Diamond Bank. Otti joined Politics in 2014 as a Member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and was the party's Governorship Candidate in Abia State during the 2015 and 2019 General Elections. The Two-time Governorship Hopeful dumped APGA and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in August 2020.
3. Hon. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah
Ogah, 51 is the current Minister of State of State for Mines and Steel Development. The Onuaku Uturu-born Oil Magnate is the Founder of Master Energy Group, a major player in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry. He came to political limelight when he aspired for the 2015 PDP Governorship Ticket, during which he lost to Okezie Ikpeazu at the Governorship Primaries. Ogah later decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and contested the 2019 Governorship Election as the APC Flagbearer. Again, he lost to the incumbent Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). On the 21st of August, 2019, He was appointed as Minister of Mines and Steel Development by President Muhammadu Buhari.
