The investigation into the corruption allegation in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) which involves the mismanagement of the sum of 82.5 Billion naira is the big issue in the Nigeria at the moment.

President Muhammadu Buhari in his reaction to the corruption issue in the NDDC stressed that he is determined to get to the root of the problem undermining the development of the Niger Delta.
The president made it clear to the National Assembly, investigating team and law enforcement agencies to pursue better coordination in their work to ensure sanity, transparency and accountability.
Also President Muhammadu Buhari instructed that all the investigation team must ensure that he is properly informed of any and all actions related to the NDDC matter.
