Deji Adeleke is one of Nigeria’s famous billionaires. He has been a major support for his brother, Senator Demola Adeleke. Deji Adeleke is the President and founder of the Adeleke University. For over few years now, Dr. Deji Adeleke has been the major financier of the Osun state People Democratic Party (Osun PDP).
In 2018, he bankrolled and financially supported his brother, Senator Ademola Adeleke who ran as the People Democratic Party’s governorship flagbearer in the 2018 Osun Governorship election. Despite the fact that the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Gov. Gboyega Oyetola won the rerun election, the election was keenly contested. Senator Demola Adeleke gave Gov. Gboyega Oyetola and the All Progressive Congress (APC) the best of his fight.
Currently, the Osun State chapter of the People Democratic Party (PDP) is in the hand of Dr. Deji Adeleke who has been a major financier of the party. Apart from being the financier of the party, he maintains a cordial relationship with the National Exectuve Committee of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
