Trump was a poor president, but not as bad as the other post makes him out to be. This person clearly has an emotional reaction to Trump, as many people apparently do. You have to set aside emotion for this type of analysis and try to be objective. Of modern presidents, George W. Bush and Barack Obama would rank lower than Donald Trump. Trump only served four years so that limits the amount of damage he was able to do. Bush 43 and Obama both started wars which resulted in millions of deaths. Trump escalated Obama's drone strike campaign and removed the U.S. from the Iran Nuclear Deal, but he didn't start any more wars. Bush and Obama also eroded American civil liberties more than Trump. Ronald Reagan was certainly worse than Trump. We all know now that Russiagate was a fake conspiracy but Iran-Contra was real and much worse than Watergate, Nixon's greatest scandal. Reagan should have been impeached and prosecuted. Reagan and JFK also almost incinerated the world by provoking the USSR into a nuclear standoff. JFK is also a highly overrated bad president. Bush 41 attacked countries that did not directly threaten the U.S. I would consider Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton to be the best two modern presidents. They were finically conservative and didn’t start any new wars. Bush 41, 43, Obama, and Trump oversaw huge bailouts that will cost taxpayers trillions of dollars in the future. So if you are going to blame Trump for increasing the national debt then you also have to point that finger at Obama and Bush.

Henry R. Greenfield seems to be blaming Trump for the corona virus epidemic. I don't see how he squares that. Is a trade deficit with China bad? How so? Why do countries have to trade equally with each other exactly? Greenfield also makes the claim that the U.S. emerged as the dominant country in the world after the Civil War. He needs to check his facts. The U.S. didn't become a world superpower until after WWII. Calling the vandalizing of the Capital a "civil war" is just a bit of a stretch. I can't see that event being talked about much in the history books. Greenfield also seems to think that Democrats like Joe Biden are somehow a better choice than Republicans. It's more like choosing Mussolini over Hitler, so not much better. Time will tell but no doubt Biden will just be another warmonger and big spender like Obama. But what matters to people like Henry R. Greenfield are appearances and not facts. Greenfield didn't even mention the escalation of Obama's drone war under Trump or pulling out of one of Obama's only foreign policy victories, the Iran Nuclear Deal.
