Still On Magu's Case Today, July 20th


Some Economic and Financial Crimes Commission workers including the agency's director, Olanipekun Olukoyede, have been issued indefinite suspension letters.

This comes days after the presidency suspended 12 of the agency's directors in relation to the Commission's ongoing probe of suspended Acting Chairman Ibrahim Magu.

Report was found that some of the directors affected by the action were part of the Federation Attorney General and Justice Minister Abubakar Malami (SAN) investigative team.

Others affected by the suspension include Kabir Latona, Muhammed Abba, Rotimi Oyedepo, Ibrahim Buhari.

Magu was arrested on 6 July by a team of staff and police from the Department of State Services, and taken to the Presidential Villa in Abuja to answer questions from an investigative panel headed by the Court of Appeal's retired judge , Justice Ayo Salami for misappropriate of office.

Ibrahim Magu has been held on parole for several days before being finally released last week.
