Federal Government Has Declared Thursday 29th As Public Holiday.

The federal government of Nigeria, Under the administrative leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has declared Thursday the 29th of October as public holiday.

Former Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, who now holds the post of the Minister for Interior, On Tuesday 27th, he made the declaration on behalf of the federal government.

He said it was declared to mark this year's Eid El Maulud celebration in commemoration of the birth prophet Mohammed ( SAW).

The minister further went on to congratulate all Muslim brothers and sisters for witnessing another year to mark the occasion.

He urge citizens of the federation to uphold peace, embrace the spirit of love which was the true definition of the Holy Prophet.

He further call for stop on the present unrest going on across the country, as their (Youth) cooperation is highly required for the Buhari's administration to be more effective.

Nigeria as a country is a representation and pride of the black race, and they must in all dealings set a lasting example of true leadership for the other countries in the Continent.
