Nigerians are currently lambasting the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after they revealed that the result-viewing portal that suffered glitches during last week's presidential and National Assembly elections is working fine now and it would be used for this week's governorship and House of Assembly elections on Saturday.
The Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Rotimi Oyekanmi, who spoke to journalists in a news that was posted by Punch Newspapers on Monday morning revealed that the IReV portal would be deployed during the governorship and House of Assembly elections on Saturday.
While speaking on the issue, Oyekanmi stated, "The technical glitches that affected it on February 25 have now been resolved. It will be deployed for the governorship and state Assembly elections scheduled for March 11".
