After the suspension of the acting chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr Ibrahim Magu, who has been accused of multiple allegations. Who is next in line to go down, as the former Governor of Akwa Ibom state and the current Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr Godswill Akpabio, faces National Assembly to defend he himself, against the multiple allegations that has been launched against his office.
Recall that President Mohamadu Buhari, promised to fight corruption squarely. Last month the National working committee of All Progressives Congress was dissolved by President Muhammadu Buhari, due to their inability to manage their office. After that, the acting chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Mr Ibrahim Magu, was suspended due to multiple allegations against him.
The fight continues as nobody knows who the next victim will be currently Mr Akpabio the current Minister of Niger Delta has been summoned by the National Assembly to defend himself against multiple allegations, against his office, as the federal minister of Niger Delta. If he fails to defend himself properly against these huge allegations of mismanagement.
The Minister has summoned by national Assembly. Today he is to appear before the National Assembly to defend himself against these allegations mismanagement of Niger Delta funds, if the minister fails to defend himself, one thing is certain, he goes or he stays, But it is left for the Federal Government led by president Mohammed Buhari to decide.
Just last week the former managing director of Niger Delta development commission Ms Joy Nunieh promised to open more can of worms on the mismanagement of Niger Delta development Commission's funds.
Only God will save Nigeria from the level of corruption that has eaten deep into our system.
