The former National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Scandinavia, Odunewu Lawal Rilwan Ayoola (LRA) has congratulated the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his victory at the poll.
Ayoola, who was the PRP Candidate, Federal House of Representatives, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos in the just-concluded polls, noted that the keenly contested election represents a new shift in the country’s democracy.
He said: “The declaration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President-elect by INEC chairman could be referred to as the making of God, doggedness of focus, and power of vision of a man who believes he has the mission with destiny and set out to make Nigeria great again.
“The keenly contested election represents a new shift in Nigeria’s and Africa’s growing politics and democracy.
“I wish you the best in successfully delivering on your policy pledges to Nigerians.”
The Former Secretary, APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen equally urged Lagosians to participate actively in the March 11 Guber polls.
“I also use this opportunity to call on all eligible voters across the country to go out en masse and peacefully vote in the governorship and member House of Assembly elections on March 11, 2023, and more importantly, vote wisely and make the election the most peaceful election in Nigeria.” He stated.
