Senator Francis Fadahunsi is a senator representing Osun East and belonging to the major opposition party PDP. Francis is a retired customs officer and he currently chairs the committee on customs, excise and tariff.
The senator surprisingly alleged that the criminal herdsmen were aided by some traditional rulers in the South West to carry out their sinister activities. According to him all of the kidnappings, banditry, rape, killings and disgusting destruction of properties are being carried out with the help of some traditional rulers in the region.
When he was asked about the eviction order given to the Fulanis he replied that it is foreign Fulanis that are carrying out the attacks and not Fulanis that have resided for long in the region.
What is ravaging the South West now is not the Hausa/Fulani people from Nigeria, not the Fulanis who have been living with us for the past 100 years. Those ones have not been killing people. He cleared.
