Buhari has not been replaced by Jubril from Sudan - Femi Adesina

There exist a rumor that the real President of Nigeria is dead and has been replaced by one Jubril of Sudan. The rumor was mostly promoted by IPOP leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

However, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity in a recent article says it is unwise to accept his chief is dead and has been replaced with a Jubril from Sudan.

Adesina while debunking the rumor naratted how Buhari in 2017 strikingly recognized him during a welcome party for Bihari from one his numerous medical trip abroad.

Adesina said he remembered that day in August 19, 2017, when the President returned to the country from his medical trip and they were at the airport to receive him. He said he has told the story a number of times, to dispel the idiocy that it was a certain Jubril of Sudan that came back, and not Buhari. Adesina said his own dressing that day was special because he had first attended the wedding of the daughter of the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Gabriel Olonisakin, dressed in full Yoruba traditional attire of Agbada and a cap to match. And it was the same attire he wore to the welcome party for the President.

Adesina said all of the principal aides were on a line to receive Buhari as he descended from the aircraft. Afterwards, Mr President shook hands with each person, having one wisecrack or the other to say, as is typical of him and when he got to him, Buhari told him that the outfit he wore is the best he has seen him dressed and they both laughed.

Adesina said he immediately debunks the rumor that it was one Jubril of Sudan that has replaced Buhari because how would Jubril of Sudan knows how he (Adesina) normally dressed.
