The long awaited State Gubernatorial and House Of Assembly elections are here. Millions of Nigerians are getting ready to exercise their franchise once again, to elect the candidates of their choice. However, in a report published by Sahara Reporters, it was reported that 22 BVAS machine have been declared missing in Rivers State on the day of the elections. The Resident Electoral commissioner in the state, Johnson Alalibo, told Newsmen and Representives of the election observers that the development would not affect the process.
Some Nigerians have taken to their twitter handles to react to this report of the missing BVAS machines in Rivers State. Reacting to it, a twitter user with the handle name 'MDB' commented, “Rivers always in the news for the wrong reasons. Lol ”.
