The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra in a new tweet has alleged that Sheikh Gumi once said in old news that Boko Haram is a blessing to Nigeria Muslims. His tweet just a few minutes ago has caused an uproar among Twitter users as most people seem not to agree with Nnamdi Kanu Allegation. Here is what Kanu said as I quote him directly from his Twitter page below:
"There’s something sickening about Nigeria and those that defend her. Makes you wonder if all is well with their brain cells. Sheikh Gumi, the BANDIT envoy for Obasanjo’s buddy once said “Boko Haram is a blessing to Nigerian Muslims” in the Hausa language"
The headline read in Hausa reads - "Boko Haram ta kawo Alherai Ga Musulmin Nijeriya"
Which means - "Boko Haram has brought Blessings to Nigerian Muslims" when translated to the English language directly. Although what Sheikh Gumi was trying to say wasn't so clear from the headline, people are already quick to judge him base on his involvement with the bandit's attack in the North part of the country.
Sheikh Gumi has been the middle man between the Nigerian government and some of the bandits and this has been a cause of suspicion from many Nigeria and with what Nnamdi Kanu allegedly revealed, a lot of Nigeria has reacted negatively to his tweet here are some of the reaction below:
Was Sheikh Gumi really saying that "Boko Haram Is A Blessing to Nigerian Muslims" or is it just misinterpreted by the direct translation of his words? - Let's hear your opinion in the comments section below, like, and share so that others can read.
