The chairman of the Ogun state chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has expressed concerns over the lack of tags for party agents that will monitor the election in the state. As he alleged that over 75 percent of the agents were unable to carry out their duties during the just concluded presidential elections, due to the same reason.

He assumes that it is a mistake from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as he sees no reason why they will be denied surveillance of the election.
In his words, he said, 'Regards to the issuance of polling agents tags, vis-a-vis the number of agents submitted by the party, it turned out that over 75 percent of our polling agents tags without the polling agents were released by the Independent Nationa Electoral Commission (INEC).
We, therefore, want to assure that this is not deliberate to deprive our party the right to officially monitor the election.'
