Nigerians Drag Omoyele Sowore For Bringing Herbalist To Court.
According to Wikipedia, Omoyele "Yele" Sowore (born 16 February 1971) is a Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner, former presidential candidate, and founder of an online news agency Sahara Reporters.
He was once arrested by the Nigerian State Security Service (SSS) for alleged treason after calling for a protest tagged RevolutionNow on the 3rd of August 2019. To my greatest surprise, he was arrested again and beaten during a protest in Abuja on January 1, 2021. What a Shame!!!
Omoyele Sowore, the convener of #RevolutionNow and 2019 presidential contestant, took to his Facebook page this morning to announce his arrival at the Abuja Magistrate court, wuse zone 2, for his #Revolutionnow cross over protest which sparked massive reactions on Facebook.
From the photos below, a particular person caught Nigerians attention which was a man who wore apparel of a native doctor, or what most people call, "Herbalist". The most surprising moment was that the herbalist didn't just escort Sowore, he followed Sowore inside the Court premises.
Meanwhile, this has sparked a lot of reactions on Facebook as Nigerians drag him for bringing herbalist:
