Former President Goodluck Jonathan will be invited to the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) national convention on October 30. The PDP's contact and mobilization sub-committee announced this shortly after its inaugural meeting yesterday at the National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall in Abuja.
Many Instagram users have been reacting to this information since it was made public by a renowned news outlet. Below are some screenshots of people's reactions.
As many know, PDP's party was led by Prince Uche Secondus, whose name has been suspended and is no longer a topic of discussion in the party, according to the statement, as the party tries to reposition itself for the 2023 general election. For some time now, there have been lots of reports about the former president of the country, Goodluck Jonathan, defecting to the All Progressive Congress (APC). What will Jonathan's decision be now? Will he join the APC or stick with his original party, the PDP?
