The US lawmaker alleges the plot to kill the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu before the next administration takes over.
"I do not believe that the Buhari regime has any plan to assassinate Nnamdi Kanu" Babajide Kolade-otitoju. There have been reports of Nnamdi Kanu's health issues that call for him to be relocated from Kuje prison to where he will receive proper care.
"I don't believe that the Federal Government of Nigeria will be so reckless as to take Nnamdi Kanu's life in captivity", Babajide Kolade-Otitoju. Taking his life will shatter the peace in Nigeria and the implications will fracture Nigeria.
Any right-thinking government official or security operative will not be thinking at this moment that it makes sense to take Kanu's life. He further stated that there is nothing the Buhari administration will gain from thwarting the life of Nnamdi Kanu. What Nigeria needs now is a resolution to this matter.
Babajide went on to say that there is no way an American lawmaker will raise an alarm that Nnamdi Kanu will be killed by the Nigerian government. How Nigeria treated Nnamdi's case from the beginning makes him look like a hero to many people.
Another administration may have ignored him and not given him much attention thbutthrowethis d him into a freedom fighter. All the so, the Nigerian government would not have brought him back to Nigeria from Kenya in the way they did. All these draw attention to him.
