
About two days ago, the Minister for Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi testing the new coaches that were just delivered to the Nigerian rail way system, he disclosed it there will be hike in prices of rail way transport system.
It was made known in the news yesterday that, train users who will be going from one place to the other, when the service commences will experience hike in the prices of train services, and it might be double of the initial price, which will make it 100% increment.

Senator Shehu Sani a former Senator who represented the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has given his concern about what the Minister said yesterday..
In a tweet he directed to the minister of transportation, he said 100 percent increase in the prices of train services is totally unjust, unfair, insensitive and soulless. He urged the minister to make things easy for the people as he is on top of the rock of power, you will meet with them when you are back to the base of life.
