
Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has sacked his special adviser on media, Salihu Tanko Yakasai who many people know as Dawisu.
Commissioner of information Muhammad Garba confirmed that Dawisu was sacked over his social media postings that says things that are contrary to the All Progressive Congress (APC) government.
Muhammad added that Dawisu was sacked because he failed to differentiate between personal opinion and official standpoint on public issues.
Dawisu who DSS picked on Friday after he had posted on social media that APC government have failed Nigerians which is popular with young people from across northern Nigeria.
"It is true that Kano government has sacked Salihu Tanko Yakasai and the issue is that, he failed to differentiate between personal opinion and official standpoint on public matters, that is the problem." Muhammed said.
In the statement that Kano state government released, they said they will continue to align and support President Buhari's government to succeed.
