Ahead of the forthcoming PDP National Convention, According to a report by the Tribune, the South-West Zonal Executive Committee of the PDP has adopted Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has the Consensus Candidate for the Position of the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Party.

It will be recalled that the position was zoned to the South-West. Oyinlola, a Former Governor of Osun State had previously announced his intention to become the next National Chairman of the PDP, but his quest for the Position came to an end following the Zoning of the Office to the North by the Party.The 70years-old Oyinlola has requisite Experience in Politics, he has previously served as a Military Administration in Lagos State, Executive Governor of Osun State and National Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
