Buhari warns ministers, top officials of government for despising parliament

President Muhammadu Buhari, warns ministers and top officials of his government that they should maintain good relation with the Federal Parliament of Nigeria.

According to reports, President Muhammadu Buhari said that that he would not condone any dishonesty to the legislature from any executive branch official.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Made this remarks during a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives yesterday Thursday. where they discussed some of the recent activities of the legislature.

According to reports, The warning comes hours after Niger Delta Development Authority chairman Daniel Pondei, walked out of the audit panel. regarding the investigation of the commission's finances.

According to a presidential statement, it has instructed all the ministers and heads of government agencies, to go about their business. so that they do not sabotage the legislature and its leadership as well as its representatives.
