In what came as a huge surprise to many Nigerians, President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday honoured former president Goodluck Jonathan by naming the Agbor Railway Complex, Delta State after the Bayelsa born politician.
President Buhari in appreciation of the effort of his predecessor, Dr Goodluck Jonathan in the revival of Infrastructural Projects across the country approved the kind gesture to honour the elder statesman.
This laudable news was made known by Tolu Ogunlesi, the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media via his official tweeter handle.
The Presidential aide noted that the Railway Complex in Agbor in Delta State would henceforth be known as Goodluck Jonathan Railway Station and Complex.
He wrote, "President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the naming of the Railway Complex in Agbor-the operational hub of Itakpe-Warri rail line after President Goodluck Jonathan. It will be known as the Goodluck Jonathan Railway Station and Complex."
This cheering news would be surprising to many Nigerians as a result of the love lost relationship bewtteen Goodluck Jonathan and president Muhammadu Buhari following the 2015 presidential election.
