Edo State chapters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have accused Edo State chapters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that their flag bearer of the forthcoming Governorship election Mr. Godwin Obaseki for recruiting of thugs and cultists for the September 19 poll.
The spoke man of the APC Mr. Chris Azebamwan who is the Publicity Secretary of the APC said that the governor of the state Mr. Godwin Obaseki is appointing thugs and cultists into his government in disguise as special assistants and senior special assistants to be deployed to cause mayhem during the governorship election.
However, the spoke man of the Edo State chapters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mr. Chris Nehikhare who is the publicity Secretary of the PDP said that APC was trying to bully the good people of the state because “it is common knowledge that the APC is the party that is populated by known thugs and brigands in the many factions that exist within it.
