The 94 year old elder statesman who served as aide to former President Shehu Shagari claimed that President Buhari only presented himself for election just to have power and enrich himself as he lacks the capacity for solve Nigeria's problems.
Yakassai made it known to Sunday Tribune that is Incompetent which is reflected in his inability to formulate programs that will be able to solve the numerous challenges in the country, as he described the election of Buhari's as the greatest error ever made by Nigerians.
The elder statesman noted that he had never supported Buhari and he will never support him because he lacks competency to rule the country.
He reveals that many wanted to become president just to have power and to make money, as Nigeria’s problems cannot be solved until there are key strategies put in place. Yakassai later revealed that he doesn't support those clamouring that the country should break up.
