Obi Took The Lead By Winning 13 States Including Abuja; Tinubu and Atiku won 12 states each- Dahiru

According to Majeed Dahiru, a public affairs analyst who appeared on Arise TV, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, won 13 states in Nigeria, while Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar won 12 each.

Dahiru stated that the distribution of votes among the leading presidential candidates is a fair reflection of the dynamics on the ground before and after the election.

He further explained that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) entered the election with three candidates, and all of them received strong support.

Meanwhile, the All Progressive Congress (APC) went into the election with Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and even though they had their differences, their house was intact. Dahiru claimed that Atiku, Peter Obi, and Kwankwaso had larger crowds than the APC.

Dahiru concluded by saying that Asiwaju Tinubu won the election, but because he received a minority of the votes cast, which is the first time since 1999, the APC as a party lost to Nigerians. Tinubu won in approximately 12 states, while Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi won in 11 states and the FCT, making a total of 12.
