The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has claimed that Nigerians massively voted for its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar during the just concluded presidential election and therefore want the mandate given to Atiku Abubakar to be returned back to him.
Speaking further, the party disclosed that it has filed a motion on notice, for live telecast of the court proceedings, noting that in any democracy, the openness of any process is what determines the level of credibility of that process.
The PDP made this disclosure during a press conference that was organised by the party, on Tuesday, noting that the election tribunal is part of electoral process.
Furthermore, the party used the opportunity to thank and appreciate Nigerians, Media and all lovers of democracy for their support the the party's bid to retrieve the presidential mandate freely given to Atiku Abubakar, which they claimed was stolen by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, head by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Be it as it may, Nigerians are waiting patiently, so as to know whether their will be a live telecast of the presidential election tribunal proceedings, as it was demanded by the PDP.
