The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Dumebi Kachikwu has finally reacted to the outcome of the presidential elections in an interview made available on Punch. In the interview, he analyzed the elections and believes that all four major political parties rigged the polls in their strongholds according to Punch
When he was asked about Governor Wike's alleged support for APC while being a PDP member and if he would have done the same if he were in Wike's shoes, Dumebi said Wike saw that certain elements in PDP believed that the only way the party could win is by putting forward a Northern candidate.
Wike on the other hand believed that a Muslim Fulani man shouldn't replace another Muslim Fulani man. He fought to be a southern candidate but lost in the primaries. He also decided to put a southern chairman but the chairman refused to step down as he promised.
" History repeated itself, we saw what happened when Jonathan lost certain governors in the PDP and he lost the election. Atiku messed up and missed a golden opportunity" Dumebi said
