Insecurity: Zamfara State Government Received Armored Personnel CarriersAs part of effort to boost security in Zamfara State, The State Government has received the purchase of Armored Personnel Carriers to combat all forms of criminalities such as kidnapping and banditry in the state.
The Executive Governor of the State Dr. Bello Matawalle made this known to the public via his verified Twitter handle. He stressed that the vehicles would reinforce the technical human capacity of the armed forces against bandits. He further explained that the state is committed to dialogue but will equally support maximum force against recalcitrant criminals. His words;
"I received the 1st delivery of Zamfara State Goverment's Armored Personnel Carriers. These vehicles would reinforce the technical & human capacity of our armed forces against bandits.
While commited to dialogue, we equally support maximum force against recalcitrant criminals".
Some Nigerians who reacted praised the governor of the state, for taking steps in protecting the lives and properties of citizens in the state.
