The Director, News Media of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Femi Fani-Kayode popularly known as FFK has taken to his verified Twitter page to react as Dino Melaye said PDP presidential campaign council spent over 400 billion on the presidential election.
It was reported today that the Atiku-Okowa presidential campaign council’s spokesperson, Dino Melaye revealed that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council reportedly spent more than N400 billion on their campaigns.
While reacting to this report, the former aviation minister, Fani Kayode took to his microblogging, Twitter, saying those that say that they spent 400 billion on running for the Presidency should know that the presidency of the country was not for sale.
More so, Fani Kayode added to his statement by saying they may have breached the law on campaign financing and violated the Electoral Act.
However, Fani Kayode concluded by saying the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will not be given a kobo to compensate them for their loss.
