Thus, giving a clear signal that the party might pick it's 2023 Presidential Candidate from the South. Peter Obi, Without doubt, the Former Governor of Anambra State 'll get the support of his kinsmen to make the 2023 Igbo Presidency a reality. Obi who was the 2019 PDP Vice-presidential Candidate has distinguished himself in terms of
Performance and Competence during his tenure as Governor in Anambra State. Also, Peter Obi is a rallying point in the South-East especially in Anambra State where he hails from.
Another Top PDP Chieftain on the list is Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. He is a well respected Stakeholder in the Party. Wike who has previously served in different political positions is capable of pursing a Presidential Ambition.
