Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, reportedly told the Presidential Election Petition Court that he will be calling 50 witnesses within the next seven weeks to prove that President-elect Bola Tinubu was declared the victor by means that were not fair. This is according to The Whistler.ng.

His legal team, led by Awa Kalu SAN, was dissatisfied that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ignored the court's order to provide them with election materials. In response, INEC's advocate A. B. Mahmoud SAN denied that the Commission had disregarded the court's ruling.
Meanwhile, Tinubu's lawyers have asked for three weeks to compile a list of 21 witnesses in his favor. The hearing was moved to Monday. Obi is aiming to have Tinubu's election reversed on the grounds that he did not receive the majority of legal votes and that 18,000 polling stations interfered with results.
