Mahdi Aliyu Gusau is the current Deputy Governor of Zamfara State. He is one of the youngest deputy governor's to be elected at his age since fourth Nigerian Republic. He is a son to General Aliyu Muhammed Gusau, former minister of defence.

Umar Usman Kadafur (born may 31,1976) is a Nigerian politician. He is the 8th Democratically elected Deputy Governor of Borno State. Before his nomination as deputy governor, he served as the Chairman of Biu Local Government, where he made one of the most transformative political icons of the past decades in the community. Kadafur polled 9 out of 10 votes casted to defeat the incumbent deputy governor to occupy the office for the party.
3. Edward Onoja (46)
Edward Onoja is the current Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Nigeria. He hails from Odidoko - Emonyoku in Ogugu District of Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State. He was the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State before assuming the office of the Deputy Governor of Kogi state in October 21, 2019 following the impeachment of the Deputy Governor Simeon Achuba by the Kogi state House of Assembly. During the 2019 general elections, Edward became Head of Campaign and Chief of Strategist for the Yahaya Bello Campaign Organization.
4. Haruna Manu (47)
Haruna Manu ( born 23 August 1973) is a Nigerian engineer, politician, a member of the People's Democratic Party ( PDP) and a former member House of Representatives for Bali/Gassol federal constituency. He is the current Deputy Governor of Taraba State, serving together with Darius Dickson Ishaku since may 29, 2015. Prior to his political career, Haruna worked with the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) and later worked with MTN Nigeria Communication Limited. Haruna joined the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in late 2010 and won the primary ticket for the Bali/Gassol federal constituency seat of the National Assembly. He won the election and represented Bali/Gassol federal constituency at the National House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015. He was the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Banking and Currency, and a member of various committees in the House of Representative during his tenure at the National Assembly. During the 2015 general elections, Darius Dickson Ishaku choose him as his running mate under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
