The candidate of Labour Party in the last presidential election, Mr Peter Obi has given an important advice to his supporters ahead of the Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
While speaking on Channels Television, Mr Peter Obi was asked if he will advise his supporters to vote all Labour Party candidates irrespective of who they are. Mr Peter Obi said "i have told the OBIdients please do not vote blindly".
Mr Peter Obi said that we have a contry and we have a whole lot of problems to deal with. He said that the watch word should be 'Character, Competence, Capacity and Compassion'.
He said that the country needs to see and have competent people in the position of authority. He said that in the places where Labour Party doesn't have candidates, they should vote competent people.
He went on to say that anyone elected on the platform of Labour Party, they will ensure that such an individual must perform based on the party's tradition and culture.
