The All Progressive Congress (APC) is currently preparing for the upcoming presidential election in the year twenty twenty three. One of the indications that prove that the party is actually preparing for the election is the issue of the party presidential ticket which had been zoned to the Southwestern part of the country.

In the Southwestern states in the country, the former Governor of Lagos State, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu still has upper hands of winning the presidential ticket in the All Progressive Congress (APC) towards the upcoming presidential election. Tinubu is capable enough of winning the presidential ticket alone on himself without anybody's interferences.

As a top political stalwart in the Southwestern part of the country, Tinubu is expected to win the ticket by himself but with the situation on ground currently, there are some problems that the former Governor of Lagos State needs to face if he wants to secure the party's ticket ahead of the twenty twenty three presidential election.

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State also has shown interest in becoming the president of the country if he gets the ticket before Tinubu gets it. The two politicians will have to contest in the primary election to determine who will be the party's flag bearer in the year twenty twenty three.

There is no way Fayemi can win in the primary election over Tinubu. Tinubu has influences more than Fayemi can imagine. He would be the greatest loser if he loses by then. As a wise politician, Fayemi should just move on to Tinubu to demand to these two things from Tinubu:

1) Give Him A Special Appointment

Governor Kayode Fayemi's tenure would have come to an end before the election and he might not really have serious things to do again. He should demand for some appointments from Tinubu.

2) Tinubu Shouldhould Back His Governorship Aspirant

Like every politicians, Fayemi would want to have an honest successor that he needs to hand over the government to. Therefore he needs Tinubu to ensure that his candidate become the Governor of Ekiti State.

Fayemi should move on to Tinubu and demand these two requests from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. After granting his request, Fayemi should forget about his presidential ambition.
