Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello on Tuesday inspects the ongoing construction works at the Kogi State Reference Hospital, Okene. 

While inspecting the over 300-bed space hospital which will be equipped with state of the art medical equipment, Governor Bello commended the contractors, site engineers and other construction workers for the speed and quality of job done so far. 

He disclosed that when completed, the Kogi State Reference Hospital, Okene and other health infrastructure his administration is providing will address medical needs of the people of the state and Nigeria by extension. 

Onogwu Muhammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor , reports that the hospital when completed will end medical tourism by Nigerians to other countries.

Residents of Okene trouped out in large numbers to welcome the Governor who was accompanied by top government officials on the inspection tour.

Governor Yahaya Bello recently released money for the construction of additional roads in Kogi state and it's environs, pundits are of the opinion that , Bello's presidential aspirations are not a distraction to his zeal to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of kogi state .
