See photos of some of Nigeria's Governors wives who have both the beauty and the brains

In Nigeria or let's say most of the countries of the world we give more glory to our leaders and always forget the quote "behind every successful man there's a woman" this is the case when it comes to Nigeria state governors, they don't only have good women behind them but also ambitious and beautiful women. That is why I have decided to compile a list of Governor's wife who are so beautiful and also decently dressed, they possess the attributes of a mother and simultaneously a beautiful fashion sense, you just can get too much. So These are just few of the many governors wives in Nigeria.

1. Ogun state governor wife

Bamidele Abiodun is a Nigerian businesswoman, philanthropist and wife of Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun State, Nigeria. Abiodun was born on July 16, 1966 to the family of Professor Oladipo Oduye, a former deputy vice chancellor at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and the late Mrs Abimbola Wosilat Oduye both from Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State. Abiodun attended The International School, Ibadan for her secondary education and then obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of Ibadan in 1988. And as you can see in the pictures below she doesn't just have the brains, she also has the looks. One thing you should look out for when getting married.

2. The first lady of Lagos State

The current first lady is Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu she is the advisor to the Lagos State governor, and often plays a role in social activism. The position is traditionally held by the wife of the Lagos State governor, concurrent with his term of office, although the Constitution of Nigeria does not recognize the office of the first lady. First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

Indeed, the story and trajectory of Ibijoke who is the first Medical Practitioner to become the First Lady of Lagos State is that of exceptional combination of beauty and intellect. And more importantly, she has been passionately consistent with her abiding faith in the aphorism that the true essence of life is to make every effort for the world to be a better place.

Born on January 8, 1967 to the family of Paulinus Olusegun Carrena of Popoaguda, Brazilian descendant area of Lagos Island, Ibijoke holds Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) from the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka. She also has in her academic kitty a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHM); Diploma in Anesthesia (DA); Masters of Public Health (MPH) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA). She has got the brains! And see how beautiful she looks too with her wonderful fashion sense!

Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu (born 1953) is an aquaculturist, philanthropist, and the First Lady of Ondo State in Nigeria. She is married to Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu. She is the founder of the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu was born on 20 July 1953, to the family of Chief BUB and Nneoma Dora Anyanwu, in Emeabiam, Owerri-West, in Imo State. Anyanwu-Akeredolu attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in zoology in 1977. She holds a master of science degree in fisheries, major in  aquaculture, from the University of the Philippines Visayas in Iloilo City. She began her career as a fisheries expert while working with the Federal Department of Fisheries. She retired in 2005. She is a commercial fish farmer and provides consultancy services through her firm, Aquatek Farms Ventures. In addition, she has made a foray into politics since 2007 and is active in the present dispensation. Aside all the fact that shes got the brains as well, she's beautiful too, and you might have noticed, she isn't a Yoruba woman and still married to a Yoruba man, she's the real definition of no cultural barriers in marriage or anything.

4. Martha Udom Emmanuel

Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel is the wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria. She portrays such excellent qualities that earns her the glitz and glamour she receives continually from her people.
