Meet Arthur Eze:An Igbo Man Who Surprised A Church With 10thousand Naira Each On His Visit

Arthur Eze is a Nigerian oil mogul, philanthropist, politician, and the CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, the largest privately owned Nigerian exploration and production group. The Igbos call him, "OZOIGBONDU"of Igboland. He is one of the billionaires in Southeast Nigeria.

Arthur Eze was born on the 27th of November 1948 in Ukpo village, Dunukofia Local Government Anambra State, Nigeria. He is popularly known as "Prince Arthur Eze" because he is from a royal family, and his elder brother is the traditional ruler (King) of Ukpo Village.


All saints Anglican church located at Awka road in Onitsha Anambra state invited the oil mogul to their diocese to commission a building project worth millions of naira.

He ended up surprising the congregation by announcing to each and every member present of a token of 10 thousand naira and donated to the building project the sum of 15million naira.


The congregation turned to a rowdy section as they were over joyed of an unexpected gift from the philanthropist.

People who were eligible for the cash gift were asked to provide a national identification card or a voters card for identification and collection.
