Oyetola's Signing Of Anti-Open Grazing Bill Into Law, The Right Step In The Right Direction

According to a report by The Nation, the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has signed into law the prohibition of open grazing in the state.

It is no longer news that farmers herders clashes have been increasing all over the country, farmers complain of herders having their cows graze in their farms while herders complain of their cattle being rustled.

To this effect, it is indeed a right step in the right direction as the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola signed into law today the bill that ban open grazing in the state.

The bill is aimed at regulating animal grazing and establishments of cattle ranches and other related matters. There is no doubt that if this bill will be fully implemented, it will go a long way in curtailing all these farmers herders clashes in the state.
